Anwar Pandith is a gracious man, originally from Kashmir who, for 30 years was one of the premier rug showrooms in Boston. Reese Schroeder commissioned Anwar's hand weaver in Kashmir to interpret five of Reese's artworks as rugs. The relationship with Anwar grew into a friendship, and in April of 2009, Anwar hosted the liquidoranges Open House at the Boston Design Center in his showroom. That piece of glass in the corner? It stole the show, and launched the art glass division of liquidoranges. Today we work all across the country. Sadly, Anwar closed his showroom and moved away to Virginia to be closer to his daughter, who is Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's Senior Advisor Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs. What a beautiful man he is. He is missed.
