BUILD BOSTON 2009

Build Boston, held at the Seaport World Trade Center this week was perhaps the most exciting event liquidoranges has attended to date! We premiered our laminated art glass to the public (and our competitors) for the first time. Michael Del Sesto of Advantage Glass (our partner in this venture) and I could not believe the overwhelming response we received. The booth was incredibly busy, all day for all three days. I spoke to so many architects and designers that I started loosing my voice. What has emerged from the show are several solid opportunities for immediate projects. Also what has emerged is the envy of our competitors. Our process is secret, as it should be, and I can not imagine giving it away and sacrificing all the artistic opportunities I feel within me to push this forward as truly an integration of fine art and architecture. Special thanks should be made to all the representatives of Schuco who were so supportive, interested in our art glass, and took Michael and I out to dinner at Anthony’s Pier 4 restaurant. We have already secured our booth at next year’s Build Boston Event, same 800 aisle but on the other side so we don’t have a column blocking views to our exhibit. Next, it is on to New York, Miami, and possibly LA. Things are going to get very busy for us, and we are discussing the possibility of establishing a showroom in downtown Boston for our glass, as well as the relocation of liquidoranges STUDIO HQ. Stay tuned.
