This program is currently for large scale production. We do not have the ability to create one-off's or small count table settings without significant cost.

Working in tableware design -
Our fine china pattern work began in our first year with the development of four prototypes that ultimately went on tour to various US trade shows and were published in theMarket, 2010, the annual publication of AmericasMart. The idea was simple; to put art on the table as part of the dining experience, framing and embracing the culinary arts as an extension of, and not a backdrop to the chef’s craft. Working with specially selected flat dish geometries, we adopted four of our New Media works to six piece place settings, using the 250 year old Decalcomania transfer method with state of the art digital equipment for perfect replication of the original detail and colors. The results proved to be beautiful table settings capturing the vibrancy of electronic art, hand made skill, making a statement alone or embellished with fine cuisine.

Our prototypes were produced in Shanghai, China where we continue to maintain a working relationship. With our process, we believe there are many such manufacturing opportunities around the world and in the USA. Photos above are from the Studio. Photos below are from the factory.
